about me

“Ever since I was little I have always loved writing: from poetry to short stories, articles and assertive letters, blog posts and eventually a whole book! Having conquered all the hurdles that put me off before, I finally published my first book – the memoir “Friend of God” – in December 2022! I poured my heart and soul into it – it was a long, hard process! But much like the mess and pain of childbirth, all that was forgotten when I held my beautiful new book-baby in my own hands! And once I started receiving feedback of how it was helping other people… well, that made me want to do it again!

Very soon I was swamped with new ideas and memories of old, half-finished books, all clamouring to be published, and the one that rose to the top was the Jesse Tree. It had been such a treasured tradition within my own family, and I wanted to share what we had discovered about every story pointing to Jesus, with others. Once I had the idea of turning it into an anthology of multiple different authors’ voices, I knew I had to make it happen. It was published in 2023 and I’m pleased to say it has also been very well received.

Following that, in early 2024 I wrote a series of Bible studies for my home group, and felt a nudge to turn it into a mini-book for other small groups to use. That was the easiest release yet. But at the same time I was writing my fourth book – Finding Jesus in the Wilderness, to be published in November 2024. It’s a book based on my own ‘wilderness’ experience of the past three years. God has taught me a lot about the trials and the blessings hidden in dry, hard places – and I felt a strong call to share those lessons with others who may be experiencing difficult seasons of their own. If that’s you I hope and believe the contents will bless you as God blessed me.

I’m looking forward to sharing this new book with you all, and then… who knows what will come next?! I still have many ideas for new books, so watch this space!”
